Fort Gordon, GA

There are no schools on Fort Gordon. Children who live on-post attend the Richmond or Columbia County schools. Transportation is provided for elementary and middle school students living on the installation, and high school students attend Richmond Academy High School. If the child is registering for the first time, parents must provide a birth certificate, immunizations and a Georgia Certificate of Eye, Ear, and Dental Examination (Form Ga Form 3300). Several magnet scho9ols are also offered, and most bus services are available at no cost. Colleges in the area include Paine College, Southern Illinois University, Troy University and Central Michigan University.
